The Director General Delta State Capital territory Development Agency, Mr Patrick address fruit sellers who are tenants in the smart fruit shops on the importance of proper waste disposal in their business premises.
Ukah advice all the tenants in the fruit shops to properly dispose their waste in a safe manner rather than deface the state capital with waste.
Mr Isaac Nwosu the Head of Environment while addressing the tenants of the Smarth Fruit Shops frowned at non compliance with rules on maintaining a clean state capital he said strick measures will be applied to maintain a clean Delta.
Nwosu said failure to comply with the directive will lead to prosecution. He urged them to dispose their waste properly to enable easy evacuation by the PSPs.
Addressing the traders, the Manager Admin and Finance of DSCTDA Mr vincent Okwufajeke warned the traders to desist from displaying their goods on the roadsides, adding that only sample products are allowed at the first extension.
On his part, the Manager, Investment and Business Promotion, Mr John Ijiede urged the traders to partner with the Agency on a cleaner environment.
